Today was the perfect day to go to Walgreens since they had this overlapping RR deal! The cottenelle 12 pack was on sale and had some RR and coupons to go with it... I walked in the store intending ONLY on buying this but thankfully, I was also able to get some freebies too!
I did about 5 transactions which I never do! I always cap it at 2 only because I don't want to be the person who takes 30 minutes to check out. I lucked out today and checked out at the cosmetics department and I had the BEST cashier ever!! She said to me "Don't worry! Do as many transactions as you want!" That was music to my ears! Turns out she was an aspiring couponer so I was able to give her a few tips... We helped each other out and I got some great deals to take home!
Here's what I got:

Transaction #1: I had $4 RR left from last week

So in the end: I spent $16.44 OOP including the initial $4 RR and I got back $10 RR that I can use for next week's sales!
That's a Net cost of $6.44 for around $49.55 (pre-tax) worth of product!! 87% savings!
My next stop was CVS where I only did my normal 2 transactions

I paid $6.74 ($6 ECB + 74 cents cash) and got back $5 ECB
Transaction #2:

FINAL PRICE: $6.60 for both
I paid $6.60 ($5 ECB + $1.60 cash) and got back $6 ECB
So in the end: I spent $8.30 OOP including the initial $6 ECB and I got back $6 ECB that I can use for next week's sales!
That's a Net cost of $2.30 for around $26.60 (pre-tax) worth of product!! 91% savings!

At the end of the day, I paid $8.74 (incl. tax) for both shopping trips at WAGS and CVS for around $76.00 (pre-tax) worth of product! An average savings of 89% for the day :-)
